Palos Community Hospital Reviews

What is it like working at Palos Community Hospital?

Charge Nurse (RN) in Palos Heights:
The hospital has changed in the last several years from short staffing and under compensation. No raise for the last several years and cutting down benefits. Administration does not support their employees in general.
Respiratory Therapist in Chicago:
It used to be a great place to work. Now it’s terrible. Management is awful. HR is incompetent. Everyone is miserable and hates their job. Every day we were short staffed. You get yelled at for taking a break. The workload is unsafe. You don’t get a raise. It’s literally a joke. The respiratory therapy manager is pathetic. It’s a shame because they pretend they care about their patients but they don’t at all. All they care about is money. Less staff equals less money you have to pay. They try to get by with the minimum and expect you to pick up shifts so they’re not even more short staffed. Ridiculous.
Challenging.
Laboratory Supervisor, Medical / Clinical in Tinley Park:
Pros: Problem solving
Cons: Disrespectful company culture with no accountability for sections managed.
