Overland Park Regional Medical Center Reviews

What is it like working at Overland Park Regional Medical Center?

Always changing.
Registered Nurse (RN) in Overland Park:
Pros: No call no weekends No holidays
Cons: I may have to start taking call and call rotation of weekends.
The position I accepted: Charge Nurse.
Charge Nurse (RN) in Overland Park:
Pros: Coworkers! I genuinely love the people I work with!
Cons: Being expected to not just be the charge nurse during a shift but also 3 other roles (staff nurse, PCT, secretay) due to staffing issues. Each of these roles individually is stressful and keeps staff extremely busy the whole shift-- being expected to do 4 is impossible. There are only 3 charge nurses in the hospital are routinely expected to do all four roles each shift-- the other just have to mange 1.
