Office Depot, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Office Depot, Inc.?

Always short staffed.
Sales Associate in Stockbridge:
Cons: Not enough help in the store. Print and copy policies are inconsistent based on MOD.
I would stay if the pay cap wasn't so low.
Team Leader, IT in Montgomery:
Pros: Freedom to make my own decisions.
Cons: Answering to anyone else. not enough pay. No free drinks / food. No work from home.
It is flexible and pretty much what you’d expect from an Office Depot job. Stocking shelves, helping customers, and checking them out.
Sales Associate in Ruston:
Pros: The companionships you make at work
Cons: The stress
Great job, poor compensation.
Information Technology (IT) Consultant in Loveland:
Pros: The coworkers are the best part and I enjoy being able to use my knowledge and aptitude towards IT services and computers to not only sell but diagnose and repair laptops, desktops and printers.
Cons: I dislike how the pay scale works. Our weekly schedule is dependent on our sales last year on a given day. So if it was a slow day last year then they won’t schedule too many people, which can end up messing things up when it ends up being very busy.
Very stressful never knowing what time your going home. They pay new comers more than the already employed.
Forklift Driver in Dallas:
Pros: Bonuses when there givien
Cons: The way they handle paying each individual
Copy and print supervisor.
Manager of Client Services in Newnan:
Pros: Variety of tasks and the ability to be creative
Cons: To much work for too little pay
Abysmal pay for professional tech assistance.
Technical Support Specialist in New Orleans:
Pros: Tech support is enjoyable to do. I enjoy helping people with tech issues.
Cons: Helping in other departments outside my comfort zone and being expected to regularly.
