Ochsner Reviews

What is it like working at Ochsner?

Terrible.
Registered Nurse (RN), Critical Care in Bossier City:
Pros: The other nurses I work with. However they prey on your loyalty to your nurses. Example. You aren’t paid for your lunch break, but they say it’s your fault if you don’t take one because another nurse will cover your patients. They know a nurse isn’t going to leave a fellow nurse in that position to take on like 8 patients. So there you are working for free for 30 min. And even if we were to clock out and clock that we didn’t take a lunch, our manager would go in and change it to show we took a lunch. It’s stealing, they know it and don’t care.
Cons: They take advantage of nurses….
Housekeeping Supervisor in New Orleans:
Pros: What I like most about my job is the patient interactions and the ability to bring value to each encounter.
Cons: What I like least is the exceedingly slow process of implementing changes identified as the needed solution.
Growth and Deployment.
Information Technology Specialist in Metairie:
Pros: The changing environments and objectives. Constant learning opportunities. Job shadowing and cross training is a absolute positive. Great culture.
Cons: The pay is unacceptable and under livable wage.
Construction Project Manager in New Orleans:

It is great helping people and the team that I work with are wonderful.
