OMSI Reviews
What is it like working at OMSI?
Fulfilling to the soul, not the pockets.
Museum Educator in Portland:
Pros: Teaching people of all ages about science brings me joy. I enjoy seeing curious minds learning new things.
Cons: We are understaffed and under paid. Many departments on the floor are dependent on individuals doing the jobs of 2-3 people at once. Middle management is not given authority to make decisions that would help their departments succeed. Many full time employees federally qualify as "low income" due to low wages.
Amazingly wonderful! Love my kitchen! Staff! Camp!
Kitchen Manager in Salem:
Pros: Working with a camp setting and education opportunities
Cons: Camp Gray is Seasonal.
