Newsday Reviews
What is it like working at Newsday?
Cons outweigh the Pros.
Senior Programmer Analyst in Melville:
Pros: I have earned and fought for the autonomy and freedom to lead projects, mentor co-workers and create the bridge of open communication the company lacks,
Cons: The older generation and more established employees are dictating policies that affect the short term and not for the longvity of the company. Communication is non existent and if by chance information is shared, it is marred in obscurity and ambiguity. Too many silos exist in every department.
