NYU Medical Center Reviews

What is it like working at NYU Medical Center?

The pay and benefits are good.
Medical Assistant in New York:
Pros: The pay, and the state of art machines, computers etc
Cons: Management doesn’t care about a balanced work life or furthering your career. No set hours although you have been told there are.
Physical Therapist (PT) in New York:
Cons: Affiliated with a NYCHH facility is not a good way as employees having NYULH prospectives are limited with the other facility's protocol
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in New York:
Pros: Wonderful staff. Pay is at a maximum. Benefits are incredible. Cons: Work life balance is close to impossible. They’re expanding but at the expense of their once great reputation as an employer.
Advanced Practice Nursing Leadership exploits NPs with patient load.
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) in Fort Lee:
Pros: Bonus, hours
Cons: High patient load for one NP. We function as secretaries for doctors and institution. We should be doing more patient care.
