What is it like working at NHC Healthcare?

I enjoy what I do.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Sewanee:
Pros: Meet caring and getting to know about the patients, they are my family at heart
Cons: Broken promise
No one is every held accountable for there actions.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Madison:
Pros: the few team players that truly care for the residents
Cons: mangement
Its a very compassionate place to wirk. Theres a big turn around with nurses and techs. Makes it stressful for staff to work shorthanded. I feel we should be paid more for what we do.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Columbia:
Pros: The people i work with. Management are very good too
Cons: Short staff, low pay
Not enough staff.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Nashville:
Pros: Coworkers
Cons: Management are very close and don’t want to listen when you have a problem
NHC is a good Company to work for, they just need better staffing ratios all the time on weekends and nights, not just when administration is present.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Myrtle Beach:
Pros: The residents
Cons: The staffing issues
Stressful.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in McMinnville:
Pros: I enjoy the people i work with. I also like my patients.
Cons: I am definitely not underpaid for how hard i work. It’s not unfair, either. It seems like the whole nursing staff is underpaid.
I feel it would be worth it if the pay is more.
Head Chef/Cook in Nashville:
Pros: I get to help take care of elderly people who can’t do it for themselves
Cons: The pay
