Motel 6 Reviews

What is it like working at Motel 6?

Since it's a franchise I can only give my opinion on my current place although I have helped at a different motel 6 and it is a wonderful atmosphere.
Maintenance Supervisor in Branson:
Pros: The work
Cons: Every month you have a different boss everyday somebody tells you to do something different and then when you do it you get screamed at and then because you have health problems and I have very low oxygen levels and I've been passing out lately and I get screamed at for it
General Manager in Blythe:
Working at a corporate owned property for 17 years was a great experience, definitely 4 stars. Working at a franchise property, as we were sold a few years back, is a ridiculously torturous, never-ending state of confusion, frustratingly inadequate freeware, and migraine triggering micromanagement. If you’re interested in managing a Motel 6, do yourself a favor and make sure it’s corporate owned, you’ll thank me later!
I like working its good its just I feel I should b in control of everything and not having to constantly get approval for my decisions.
General Manager, Hotel in Cheyenne:
Pros: People
Cons: Having to get approval for every little thing nd not feeling im in control
As a maid ,fast pace and neat is the key, however I feel very uncomfortable being rushed and leaving rooms unclean or neat.
Maid or Housekeeping Cleaner in Atlanta:
Pros: I like the most about this job at Motel6 is customer service, cleaning, training new housekeepers, teamwork in some areas and independence
Cons: The least i like about yhe Motel6 is not enough supplies and equipment for employees, when not enough supplies and equipment it will be a major problems between all employees, such as absent days, some co-workers feel not appreciated, or don't care about their performance anymore
My Co-workers are the best part of my job. They have very high work standards and help you out when you are slacking. On the other hand, the management is another story altogether.
Housekeeper in Ogden:
Pros: The rooms when I am done. Spotless.
Cons: The unnessary desreguard for personal property, and total lack of respect for anything, and everything.
The hours are decent but flexible, but they will put you in positions that you did not apply for.
Night Auditor, Hotel in Santa Maria:
Pros: The night shift
It would probably be great if I being compensated correctly.
Maintenance Manager in Tuscaloosa:
Pros: My own boss mostly
Cons: My pay
