Morehouse College Reviews

What is it like working at Morehouse College?

Lack employer to employer pay transparency.
Senior Accountant in Atlanta:
Pros: A few sincere people I met
Cons: VP don’t foster promotion within unless they select who they want Favoritism Nepotism Gossip No employer morale
I enjoy working with students to see them succeed.
Program Coordinator, Non-Profit Organization in Atlanta:
Pros: You are exposed to many people, many opportunities to participate in professional development.
Cons: The pay is not enough for the amount of work I do.
Great Place To Do Work That Makes a Difference.
Administrative / Office Manager in Atlanta:
Pros: It exposes and prepares At-Risk Students for college
Cons: Leadership is not transparent
All Work, No Pay.
Recruiting Coordinator in Atlanta:
Pros: The flexibility as a single mom. I’m able to be very present in my child's life
Cons: They treat women under 40 without a doctorate’s degree like incompetent kids. So you will be given all the work to make your higher up look good but then they won’t compensate/promote you accordingly. For example, you’ll have the pay grade and title of an administrative assistant II doing the work of an associate director. No lie.
