Registered Nurse (RN), Utilization Review (UR) in Bedford:
Training provided was thorough for the position, pay is on scale with other jobs of same position, hourly position, hours are flexible, mostly Monday through Friday however after the probationary period they offer alternative work schedules depending on the needs of the company. Managers are supportive and helpful and appear to want you to succeed in the job. Cons: company does not always hold employees accountable for mistakes and the higher up you are the managers expect you to fix your mistakes as as well others.
Interesting work.
Senior Corporate Recruiter in Long Beach:
Pros: Lots of challenges due to constant change in management and organization structure
Cons: Poor people managers
Licensed Professional Counselor:
You will learn a lot about how managed health care works and be in a position to help your members. You will work on a team, and my team members were the best. Unless you are a Community Connector at Moilna, you will not have much face to face experience with your members. If direct patient care is what you seek, this is not the place for you. Molina does a great job of investing in their employees through continual training, tuition reimbursement, paid time off to attend conferences, and free CEUs for Social Workers. Their benefits are not as good as they were when I initially started, but they are still better than most companies at which I worked. You will work exactly 40 hours per week; over time is discouraged. You get to wear jeans and tennis shoes to work every day. There is.a gym onsite and a cafe with reasonably priced food. Working at Molina was like working with family. I truly enjoyed my time there and left only for an opportunity for advancement. There are plenty of opportunities for advancement at Molina, but they are more geared to RNs and Social Workers. Molina also has a great walking path that I walked on frequently during my two 15 minute breaks each day. I'm very grateful I had the opportunity to work at Molina and would consider returning if the right opportunity presented itself.
Human Resources Analyst:
One of the most frustrating places I’ve worked. The company is undergoing good transformation, but collectively it’s the largest group of incompetent people I’ve ever worked with. High pay to favorites, and low pay to skilled non-favorites who then leave.
