Milwaukee County Reviews

What is it like working at Milwaukee County?

Management is Poor.
Contracts Manager in Milwaukee:
Pros: We are able to work from home and there is a fair amount of independence.
Cons: There is little support from management; the administration does not value our work. Racial equity politics interfere with making responsible decisions.
Systems Engineer, IT in Milwaukee:
Don’t expect a pay raise each year if at all. A very racially explosive environment promoted by the higher up politicians. No room for advancement. A great place though to get some experience and then move on to a better opportunity.
Clerical Assistant in Milwaukee:
We don't get pay raises. There's not much room to move up. Insurance is OK, doesn't pay for some critical items. Management is average. I wouldn't recommend working for the county if you ever want to make any money or move up.
