Mercy Medical Center Reviews

What is it like working at Mercy Medical Center?

Cardiovascular Technologist (Catheterization Lab) in Cedar Rapids:
Pros: Saving lives, patient interaction
Cons: Under appreciated staff, overbearing management who choose favorites, cliquey management
It’s great. Assist patients in daily activities, draw blood, take vitals, transport patients, provide physical and emotional support.
Patient Care Assistant (PCA) in Nashville:
Pros: My direct contact with patients, being able to help make a difference their lives and them making a difference in mine
Cons: We get paid a lower rate than the other hospitals
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT):
Treat new inexperienced employees like “gold”!! Pay scale is horrible! 401K is good they match up to 4% Management is clueless to our work load! And the training for new aspects of the job is sub-par as it is for new employees!
Love what I do. Learn about insurance customer care.
Patient Access Representative in Baltimore:
Pros: meet people from all walks of life
Cons: Dedication means nothing
Registered Nurse (RN):
Pros: Layout of unit is wonderful - for the most part, everything is in the room.
Cons: Poor pay, no raises, focus on money and productivity, short-staffed, low morale.
