What is it like working at Merck & Co., Inc.?
Can’t complain about anything, great company.
Manufacturing Engineer in Durham:
Pros: The culture is what keeps me here and the people. Great leadership in DS4 and it’s easy for everyone to come together to fix things

Challenging but rewarding atmosphere.

Administrative Assistant in Elkton:
Pros: The pay
Cons: Not knowing if it will become a permanent job or not yet..
Senior Systems Engineer:
I feel that this is one of the few companies that is pretty transparent in its operation and having programs that allow people successfully follow company core values. In general, people are willing to help each other, brainstorm options and have a discussion on choosing the best one, and people typically agree that it is one of the better companies.
There are a lot of benefits when joining the company.
Senior Research Scientist, Biotechnology:
Exciting Pipeline, proactive management. Still somewhat underpaid for the bay area. Flex hours dependent on immediate manager. Commute difficult for anyone more than 15 or 20 miles away from the site.
Learning Experience.
Purchasing Agent (but not Wholesale, Retail, or Farm Products) in Miami:
Pros: I learn something new every day
Cons: Lack of cooperation between departments.
Good place to work.
Principal Scientist:
Pros: Lots of opportunities.
Cons: Politics.
