What is it like working at Meijer, Inc.?
The life of a Meijer business analyst.
Business Analyst (Unspecified Type) in Grand Rapids:
Pros: Being able to see your work in stores and the office aesthetic
Cons: Lack of pay transparency, pay, little opportunity for internal growth.
It sucks. Management is never coordinating with the team and blame everything on team members without owning their faults but blindly lead others in believing everything is okay when its a osha hazard to work for the company.
Overnight Stocker in Michigan City:
Pros: Nothing the store director mina has no idea how to interact with employees... Has even threatened to fire people when asked about getting a raise... then turns around to say how we are the back bone... like are you insane? Only at meijer 149 people
Cons: How the theft is just abundant...like there is theft every day I walk in to work. Like so much open product and garbage ...its disgusting...
Great Company.
Loss Prevention Supervisor in Bowling Green:
Pros: The support system that helps me do my job.
Cons: Amount of work without additional compensation.
Culture is great, pay though...
Retail Associate in Marquette:
Pros: I truly enjoy my work at Meijer. My managers are always communicating with me and other team members and they allowing us to do our jobs without hovering around. There are really good education opportunities as well.
Cons: Our direct mangers are great and super helpful. Higher ups (the ones who hire and decide pay) are really shifty about where they start people and when they choose to give raises. They will start people over a dollar higher even if they only have under a year of experience, yet they will not raise your wages to match the experience you have gained at the company if you started without any experience.
Inventory coordinator.
Inventory Coordinator in Toledo:
Pros: Plenty of hours, friendly coworkers
Cons: Incompetent workers, pay scale is terrible, no way to reward good employees
Good pay and benefits.
Meat Cutter in West Chester:
Pros: First shifts ends at 1:30pm which gives me time to work at a second job.
Cons: One worker is expected to do two workers jobs.
Stressful.
Retail Store Manager in Detroit:
Pros: building displays and taking care of the customers
Cons: I'm deaf and they don't have things in place for deaf workers
