What is it like working at Maxim Healthcare Services?
I am grateful for the opportunity to work from home.

Pros: That I work in my home with my child

Stressful.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Johnson City:
Pros: Direct deposit
Cons: No paid time off, no vacation days, no raises, they cater to certain nurses, no rotation of weekends, not getting to work 40 hours, other nurses are always late but never held accountable for it
Very hard work, not enough hourly competition, no benefits, no sign on bonus, no bonus of any jund.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Warrensburg:
Pros: My client & family. Lovely work space/home.
Cons: Poor orientation for new employees, low pay, no benefits. One works very hard, great team player, be flexible, pick up or fill in extra shift & get nothing out of it... disappointing & leads to low moral.
Office staff more concerned with getting bigger bonuses than providing care givers fair compensation.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Springfield:
Pros: Providing quality in home care.
Cons: Unprofessional office staff and disrespectful attitudes toward care givers.
Average Payscale For LPN.

Cons: No holiday pay, sick days, vacation days. Benefits are expensive
I love my job.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Morristown:
Pros: Above average pay! Plenty of hours available. Great patients. Nice management.
Cons: No 401k match, no paid holidays
It’s gone downhill.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in St. Louis:
Pros: I’ve worked with many diverse families and I love meeting new people and learning about my new kiddos and how I can help them
Cons: I feel I’m not taken seriously, I’m often treated as a babysitter. I have little communication with management. I feel my time I not valued and that in turn I am not valued as a human being let alone an employee.
