Maricopa County Reviews

What is it like working at Maricopa County?

Great work environment.
Attorney / Lawyer in Phoenix:
Pros: Stability
Cons: 8-5 required, without a lot of flexibility for comp time for after hours work
Requires Passion.
Probation Officer or Correctional Treatment Specialist in Phoenix:
Pros: knowing my work makes a difference
Cons: there is never a break, seems adrenaline always running
English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher in Phoenix:
Teaching and working with students is wonderful, but the pay is low. I am one of the few who does this job full time. Most Adult Education teachers can only work part time with no benefits. We are expected to be very professional at our jobs, but we are not treated or paid like professional.
