Marathon Petroleum Company, LLC Reviews

What is it like working at Marathon Petroleum Company, LLC?

Great place to work for and Retire.
Maintenance Mechanic in Long Beach:
Pros: The pay and relaxed atmosphere 4/10 schedule
Cons: The start time. 700 am. Wish it was earlier start.
Growth but fractured from the acquisition.
Marketing Analyst in Seattle:
Pros: The broad range of tasks that I can do throughout the day
Cons: Everything is decided by Marathon in Findlay, OH and there is no input from legacy Andeavor/Tesoro employees. It's a top-down company managed by Ohio. Little motivation/effort is left by legacy Tesoro employees. Hard to get certain tasks done when half the staff left on their own or was let go
Pipeline Analyst.
Operations Analyst in Maumee:
Pros: I like the flexible schedule and being valued at work
Cons: The stress that comes along with the job
Marketing Analyst in Auburn:
As a legacy Tesoro/Andeavor employee, Marathon has done a terrible job at integrating us and I really feel like we are second class employees. Very little is being done to resolve this. Marathon has a big emphasis on diversity and inclusion but they have a long way to go on that. If you are a white male and voted for Trump, you’ll fit right in. As for the rest of us, you should look elsewhere. Benefits are still really good and I can’t complain there.
Challenging.
Chemical Engineer in San Antonio:
Pros: Ability to challenge conventional wisdom
Cons: Too big of a company. Too slow
