M&T Bank Corp Reviews
What is it like working at M&T Bank Corp?
Unappreciated.
Logistics Manager in Buffalo:
Pros: I'm THE subject matter expert on Logistics, know my job front to back and know that I'm good at it
Cons: Management is weak, does not advocate for their team, is not transparent, takes staff for granted and assumes that the work will get done
Fast-paced, stressful, high responsibility & expectations.
Logistics Manager in Buffalo:
Pros: I'm truly very good at what at I do and, for the most part, like what I do.
Cons: There is no support / advocacy on the part of management to the employees in my group.
Instructional Designer in Rochester:
Good coworkers. Some management great, some mediocre. Lots of schedule flexibility for work from home and personal/ family time. Most of the internal customers are good to work with and deadlines are usually reasonable. The downside is that they claim to reward performance it that doesn’t actually show up anywhere.
Appreciated and treated fairly.
Sr. Administrative Assistant in Stamford:
Pros: State of the art equipment in technology.
Cons: Nothing
Project Analyst:
In my time at M&T, I found that the salary was not worth the jobs performed. Management did not listen to concerns or suggestions at all and made it a very difficult environment to survive within. The benefits used to be better and have been steadily decreased in quality over the years. We were no longer offered any sort of recognition for perfect attendance quarterly and were not recognized for jobs well done however, they did let us know anytime we did anything wrong.
Performance Engineer:
Love the job and the team, but benefits are not that great with a single high deductible medical, 2% pay increase each year doesn’t end up being performance related and doesn’t instill a feeling of appreciation by upper management.
Sr. Administrative Assistant:
Great Company to work for. Great home/work balance. Very friendly welcoming workplace. Treats employees fairly and equally. Recognizes talent and rewards their employees. Listens to employees’ needs, likes and dislikes and works with them for a solution.
