Lowe's Home Improvement Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Lowe's Home Improvement Inc.?

Overworked/understaffed.
Sales Associate in Carbondale:
Pros: At least I have a job.
Cons: Not being paid anything close to what I deserve. Others doing much less work but being paid significantly more.
Used and abused.
Sales Specialist in Charleston:
Pros: Taking care of my customer's needs and making sure they are well taken care of. I also enjoy interacting with contractors and learning about their business. I also enjoy learning how the contractors I take care run and operate their business. Making relationships and networking is also very rewarding.
Cons: Management and the way they run our store.
Stressful.
Customer Service Associate in Mastic Beach:
Pros: Ability to help some customers to the best of my ability calm their stress about orders and deliveries
Cons: Not enough support from associates and management
Lowes home improvement does not listen to my needs about being a fulltime employee when working me fulltime hours with no benefits such as sick bay or vacation pay. Nor do they let me change departments.
Cashier in Columbia:
Pros: my coworkers.
Cons: Not being paid as much as others, not having my schedule respected{specific days off and hours to work} not being able to change departments, not being listened to about a specific coworker making me uncomfortable and saying inappropriate things.
Working as a cashier at Lowes often just picking up the slack and trying to make up for scheduling.
Cashier in Indianapolis:
Pros: I like talking to people and helping them get what they need
Cons: lack of propper staffing and training for new hires
Very stressful.
Head Cashier in Shelbyville:
Pros: I feel like I'm amazing at customer service and making sure my cashiers are comfortable as well as making sure they get breaks and lunches on time.
Cons: Feeling like others believe I'm not good at my job, or good enough. When infact sometimes I do more at the service desk than they do.
My position is a fast paced role that requires me to be in 2 places at 1 time.
Head Cashier in Griffin:
Pros: The variety
Cons: Not having a set weekly schedule
