Lifecare Center Reviews
What is it like working at Lifecare Center?
Changing lives everyday.
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Crossville:
Pros: Treating my patients and interacting with families and residents
Cons: Management, cliques, lack of appreciation and respect
The residents.
Dietary Aide in Paducah:
Pros: I love the residents and try to their food look presentable to eat. Since they can't come out of their rooms and I can't go in the pay really isn't worth all I do for them when I can't see their faces
Cons: Management and the pay for all I do. Everyone has gotten a raise after 90 days but me unless they just started and I think that's really unfair. We have had a few cases of covid d in the facility and none now but no hazard pay or anything.
Challenging and rewarding.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Knoxville:
Pros: Helping those that can no longer help themselves
Cons: Feeling as if I'm invisible and not valued
A challenge.
Medical Receptionist in Perth:
Pros: Most people I work along side in reception
We hold each other together because a lot of us feel we do not have the support from management
Cons: Mostly negative criticism is given,a lot of pressure put on reception and spoken to inappropriate.a lot of promises including pay rises for all when more than half got them with some only working a short time time with company , staff members being 10 years younger half the experience than some and on a higher wage. I’ve still yet to have any sort of pay rise not even after my probation period and I’ve been there nearly 2 years.
I love my job it's rewarding.
Activity Assistant in Lewiston:
Pros: Teamwork
Cons: Lower pay
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
Life care centers seems to only care about how much money they can make off the resident. It appears that that according to it's own policy that if you don't have the staff to care for the resident you are not to admit any. This policy is not being followed. Due to the level of care of the residents needs the numbers of staff is way off. Has a hard time hiring staff due to the bad reputation. Can't say that the turn over is high due to the fact they can't seem to find cna's to come into work. Unable to hire lpn's but is able hire RN' S to run the med carts. Management has no respect for thier employees, all you are is a number to use to show to the state.
