Lehigh Valley Health Network Reviews

What is it like working at Lehigh Valley Health Network?

Overwhelming for one person with minimal support.
Patient Services Coordinator in Allentown:
Pros: Meeting people from different backgrounds
Cons: Little to no discipline or consequences for insubordination. Unfair pay differences. Favoritism. Nepotism. Potential embezzlement.
Clinical Exercise Specialist in Allentown:
Very poor pay, not competitive despite overworked and stressful position. Often acting out of scope of practice and with little support. Requires masters degree and follow up certs but get paid less than tech positions with associates degrees.
Medical Assistant in Allentown:
Great overall experience. One office I worked in was full of cliques. Moved to a new office and absolutely love it. Health benefits could be a little cheaper but overall not bad. I do not see myself leaving this network.
Under appreciated and under paid.
Nurse Educator in Pottsville:
Pros: Teaching nursing students
Cons: The pay
Tough sledding.
Exercise Physiologist in Allentown:
Pros: The benefits are very nice within the network
Cons: Overworked, undermined, never backed by management. Despite being supposedly independent, often undermined my others.
