Lee Memorial Health Systems Reviews

What is it like working at Lee Memorial Health Systems?

I was miserable until I got a new director and nurse manager.
Senior Charge Nurse (RN) in Fort Myers:
Pros: The individuals I work with.
Cons: We haven’t gotten performance based raises for 2 years. 2 extremely hard years where I have stepped up greatly but am unable to get compensated for it and the cost of living keeps rising.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Tampa:
Pros: I like the close working relationship with my provider and the automony included with making work decisions.
Cons: Covid-19
Extremely stressful.
Medical Technologist in Alva:
Pros: Schedule
Cons: Management
Medical Assistant (Certified):
Many changes in the past few years and not for the employee. Company does offer fairly good benefit package but pay scale is low. Management likes to talk about how important their employees are but fail to show it. Bonuses are gone and raises have been reduced.
Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Room:
Get rid of older/experienced rns with higher$$, & hire new rns for less$.. Pay is insulting compared to rest of US. I left Lee making < $1 more than when starting here 7 yrs ago. Took $cut to move here, made it up over time, plus; then they took away 10% when I switched units. No incentive to be better/workharder.Monopoly & they know it. Stuck. Unsafe. Admin doesn’t care. Told I would “ never make my old salary again.”
No RTF insurance.
