Pros: As the Grants & Development Coordinator, I have an opportunity to create the structure for a successful Development Department from the ground up, which includes streamlining the grant application process along with collaborating with other departments to more strategically pursue funding opportunities.

Cons: Poor management, lack of guidance and access to the basic resources I need to be successful, bad internal and external communication that creates constant barriers, and there is a very minimal sense of community, and overall a culture that is in great need of improvement.
