What is it like working at Jewel - Osco?

The Jewel is not a jewel.
Cashier in Darien:
Pros: nothing really
Cons: the management degrades the employees and makes us feel as if we have no brain or social skills/
It's ok, it's a job.
Cashier in Palatine:
Pros: most employees are like family to me
Cons: my hours have been discussed, without the hazard pay, with being on disability I need to work at least 22 hrs/to 24...it's not happening since the hazard pay has stopped...
I feel extremely objectified on an everyday basis.
Grocery Clerk in Oak Forest:
Pros: how fast paced it can be.
Cons: The pay, lack of job opportunity and work environment.

I have always liked working at jewel, tho feel lately we are not appreciated by the company any longer.
