International Control Services Reviews
What is it like working at International Control Services?
This is not how you run a business.
Buyer in Decatur:
Pros: Cross-training is nice, I guess. Top level management is awful but the mid-level managers are generally pretty great people.
Cons: Unprofessional. New HR manager is inexperienced, not 100% done with his degree, and not friendly. I had to advise them that their time clock rounding (ONLY rounding to the company's benefit) is illegal. Incidentally, they have been really hitting their manufacturing people hard about getting back to their station before their break is over, as they are "stealing money from the company" as if they were not committing wage theft themselves. Who knows how long they've been doing this? My department has no direct supervisor. The position has been empty for 4 months. Two people shared the job of training me and neither was willing to actually claim they were in charge of me. I was expected to report directly to the company VP. You never know what the VP is going to ask you to do, but you can 100% guarantee he will expect you to break process. I spend my entire day simply fixing mistakes. I initiated this myself out of necessity, completely self-guided due to my own knowledge of databases and Excel reporting. If I were not self-guided and had to keep going to the VP like I am supposed to, I would go insane trying to follow the instructions I am given. Very high turnover. I am not at all surprised.
