Intermountain Health Care, Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at Intermountain Health Care, Inc.?
Very busy and frequently understaffed to give the best care. So much charting you often times have the choice of offering good care or just writing about it.
Registered Nurse (RN), Critical Care in Provo:
Pros: The staff I work with is wonderful and dedicated. My direct manager is good to work with.
Cons: They have removed any benefits that came with Seniority. After 40 years, I now work the same amount of holidays as a new graduate with 1 day of employment. Our good experienced nurses are leaving in droves for jobs with less stress and better hours. The ICUS are now predominantly inexperienced nurses. We are mandated to pick up extra shifts. On call pay has now been scaled back. As a part time employee, I no longer accrue personal leave. These are just a few of the problems.
.
Great team, poor communication from upper management.
Occupational Therapist (OT) in St. George:
Pros: My coworkers and independent work environment
Cons: We often learn things from other departments before hearing it from our direct manager; poor communication.
Very Satisfying.
Training Coordinator in Salt Lake City:
Pros: That I give all new employees everything they need to do their job
Cons: Waiting to have a job description created based off of my previous work experience
