Grocery Stocker in Cartersville:
Pros: Ability to work alone
Cons: Not a lot of communication from the store manager and certain people get special favors.
Expected to take up slack of other employees.
Deli Clerk in Douglasville:
Pros: Customer appreciation
Cons: Paid same as a new hire even with 10 years seniority
I enjoy making floral arrangements & being creative. However there is a lot of service work with floral bouquets & buckets with lifting & moving the buckets that are heavy when they contain water.
Floral Designer in Asheville:
Pros: Being creative & working with flowers making flower arrangements. It’s very exciting when the arrangements I make are dpurchased.
Cons: The heavy lifting of buckets of flowers that contain water & moving the buckets of bouquets around. Also cleaning buckets & adding water & food. Also our work area is very close to where customers walk & it is very inconvenient to make bouquets at the work station. Too many people are in the area making it crowded & difficult to focus & be creative with the floral arrangements.
Stressful.
Stock Clerk, Frozen Food in Greenville:
Pros: Freedom to self manage
Cons: The majority of the work fall on a select few instead of team work.
I hold the hands of grown adults and teach them how to tie garbage bags.
Customer Service Manager in Waynesville:
Pros: I love my coworkers, and I love being a problem solver. Also, counting and balancing money
Cons: No communication, not enough pay
I’m tired of being underpaid and under appreciated.
Barista in Lincolnton:
Pros: I get hours and it’s an easy job.
Cons: I feel like everyone their actually has worms for brains. I think im the only person in my department that can make a complex, coherent thought. I was promised a raise many times and they never came, even after bugging management about my raises. I am a hard worker but I get constantly berated about not doing enough when I know i’m doing exactly what needs to be done.
It's not that bad, but it could (should) be better.
Department Manager, Retail Store in Marietta:
Pros: Convenient hours
Cons: Lack of control of employees on different shift(s).
