Informa Reviews
What is it like working at Informa?
Thought it was the big leagues...turns out it’s a box of shit.
Conference Producer (but not Event Planning) in Miamisburg:
Pros: Interacting with experts in many fields
Cons: Knowing that there is political crap and that exhibition sales has too much power
Getting better, but still cumbersome.
Marketing Manager in Boston:
Pros: I like the people.
Cons: The work can be stressful and high turnover is problematic as the workload gets spread out to remaining employees. Training is less than adequate at times and takes a long time to become independent in the role.
Excellent history- current owner taking company in different direction.
Vice President (VP), Business Development in Memphis:
Pros: Helping clients make decisions that make a differnce.
Cons: Coroporate leadership doesn't place same emphasis on building on what we have been and what our reputation is in the industry.
