IST Management Services Reviews

What is it like working at IST Management Services?

Amazing Office environment!
Front Desk Coordinator in Washington:
Pros: I like that I am empowered as an employee.
Cons: I do not believe I am being paid adequately.
First-Line Supervisor / Manager of Office and Administrative Support Workers:
Management doesn't investigate claimed incidents. Instead, the first person who complains is the first person who is believed. That means you can get in trouble for something if someone reports you, even if you didn't do anything. For example, I got written up for something I didn't do. When I was written up, I didn't get to explain what happened - it was just a write up. Also, people are so afraid of getting in trouble that no one is willing to take initiative to get stuff done and everyone always tries to blame others when they mess up. The regional manager for my office over-explained everything, which meant that meetings or even casual conversations in the kitchen took twice as long as they should. There are a lot of young people in the office, which means that the environment can be pretty cliquey (i.e., lots of gossiping). One good thing was paid sick leave. Another perk was flexible scheduling. There was definitely a sense that management wanted to work with you on those types of things.
