Host Marriott Corporation Reviews
What is it like working at Host Marriott Corporation?
Work- enjoyed. Favoritism of co-workers and decreased hours before Covid 19.
Laundry Attendant in Gainesville:
Pros: Trusting me to do my job and noticing the improvements.
Cons: Favoritism with workers who came after me. They got increased hours, mine were knocked to part-time. I showed up as scheduled and the new schedule would be made on my day off, or after work, and I would not be allowed off. I NEVER called in sick! Being directly and indirectly get brushed off and ignored by managent, the hotel operations manager, them doing things without me knowing- exclusions directly holding meetings with other co-workers so they be in the know about current operations, and I not. No raise. Letting other co-workers text, talk on the phone while working- other laundry personnel to housekeeping, and saying I wasn't doing work. Others get credit for my work. Other co-workers get ideas carried out, mine ignored. Getting laid off, while others- the fa vorite ones are allowed back to work. Getting stalked by co-workers of same sex, and ignored by staff when mentioned. Allowing other co-workers put bad chemicals in unmarked bottles and leave it laundry room so when I work, it looks like I did it, and when I tell the main manager, I am ignored. Allowing Marriott towels, facial cloths ect. to get shaved, to look old before time, and the repeat destruction when I kept mentioning it was brushed off as nothing.
Fast paced environment and family fitting.
Assistant Manager in Barrie:
