Hotel Housekeeping Aide/Attendant/Assistant:
I had a very hard time with the hotel, the good and pleasant times were few. In three years my weekends off were 4 or 5 even when I ask for one with plenty of time prior to them. I lost contact with family cause of the job. I had to do what the company ask cause my fellow employees were afraid to loose their job or be reported as illegal aliens and be deported. The raises were small for the work and sacrifice we had to make. I tried to teach our rights to my fellow housekeepers but they did not want hear anything about it..
Housekeeper:
Cons: I speak english and supervisor prefers to speak spanish with coworkers.
