Health First Reviews

What is it like working at Health First?

Charge Nurse (RN) in Palm Bay:
Charge nurses take the brunt of low staffing and has to take a team alot of the time. There is also too much paperwork for a paperless system. Managers come and go so often that I feel I really dont have support. The policies change like the wind and most of the time all units are not educated the same as to what policy we are following at any given time. Also, the longer I've worked here, the less valuable benefits I get. They package the new benefits to make it look like we get alot; but it's usually not what we need as income earners. They want you to work, but pay you as little as they can. I didnt get an annual raise because I didnt get my N95 mask fit test done in time. I did it, just not when they said I should. And as you may guess, it's a new policy that I wasnt aware of because my department doesnt have a person in charge! Dont come here.
No pressure.
