Hallmark Card Company Reviews
What is it like working at Hallmark Card Company?
I enjoy my job and the people I work with.
District Manager, Retail in Round Rock:
Pros: The people and products
Cons: Feeling like I am jot paid what I’m worth
Sometimes rewarding....
Retail Merchandiser in Metairie:
Pros: I love the organizational part of stocking the cards and gift wrap. And sometimes the nice customers I meet in the depts.
Cons: Unrealistic time frames for any resets. Normal or seasonal. Especially if you have to also sort, inventory and store a season for next year before setting new season display.
Horrible!
Retail Store Manager in Columbia:
Pros: I like my co workers and the customers
Cons: Everything! It’s like working in the dark ages! No computer upgrades, processes are like its 1990!
Hallmark expects a lot.
Retail Merchandiser in St. Augustine:
Pros: Flexible hours but they expect a lot in a little amount of budgeted hours
Cons: Boxes are heavy
Working some holidays and day after holidays
Love but holidays are stressful.
Retail Merchandiser in Metairie:
Pros: I love the flexible hours and the fact that "my" stores are "my" stores. They reflect the fact that I take pride in my work and that I am thorough in my work processes.
Cons: Ridiculous multiple service visits per store per week when it isn't needed. And the fact that acct to acct commute times are subtracted from the actual service times for accounts. So if you have an account that has 2 mandatory services per week and a total work time of 2.18 minutes. If you travel for 10 mins from another account both days you now only have 1.48 minutes to service and straighten a store. Which is unrealistic for a med to large store. Sometimes just getting to your shipments and getting them to the sales floor before sorting is 30 to 40 mins.
