Team Lead, Operations in Bothell:
Pros: Not having to take my work home with me.
Cons: Everyone is underpaid. It is why they have a ridiculous turnover rate.
Upper management doesn't care about our building/operation. People will be promoted to a new position and are expected to do the work while waiting months to be paid at their new rate. They do this not knowing they will not receive back pay.
Great place to get experience.
Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician in Frisco:
Pros: The people I get to work with and the experience I have gained.
Cons: Lack of management communication, little positive reinforcement, low pay comparative to regional market, fishy overtime practices.
Certified Scrummaster (CSM) in Dallas:
It is not a employee friendly company. They focus on numbers and not on people. So no growth for employees both financially and professionally. You will get stuck in your career.
HCL cuts every corner to maintain their operating margin. You will get good performance rating in annual appraisals, but will not get any monetary increase in your salary. No long term vision. Every this planned in adhoc fashion.
BA job review at HCL.
Senior Business Analyst in Singapore:
Pros: Client site experience, compensation, job security to an extent
Cons: No salary hike, no regular performance management meetings with manager
Okay if you're looking for a stepping stone.
Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician in Dallas:
Pros: The people and the experience I'm obtaining, plus the benefits are amazing
Cons: Lack of management communication, rewarding lackluster efforts for brown-nosers, cultural differences are apparent and if you're not from India you're not taken seriously or paid appropriately, they're skirting around overtime laws by claiming Fluctuating Workweek Method of calculating overtime even though scheduled hours don't fluctuate.
Not a great company but definitely a good stepping stone.
Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician in Frisco:
Pros: The people I work with are pretty great, and I'm getting lots of experience
Cons: Well below average pay, immediate management communication is severely lacking, no recognition for hard work, and they are trying to skirt around the law regarding overtime for salaried non-exempt employees who have set non-fluctuating weekly schedules.
