Guardsmark, Llc. Reviews

What is it like working at Guardsmark, Llc.?

Securing.
Security Officer:
Pros: The hours are good and there's continues job placements.
Cons: Hours can change from 40 hours to 35.
Guardsmark is the Bottom of the Security business!
Security Officer:
Pros: I work indoors at night. That is all that is good about this job.
Cons: My training was a joke, DVD's I was allowed to take home along with a test with the answers, which is the same way Monthly training is conducted. Supervisors set bad examples by being late, not following policy, wearing uniforms improperly, playing favorites, fraternizing with client employees, and too many other improprieties to mention now. The Area manager while being qualified allows his Supervisors to engage in the above behavior. He promotes people not based on merit but on how easily they can be controlled or if they can keep the client happy; not by doing the job, but by, for example, doing work outside what is contracted. He does not follow Wage and Hour policies involving pay discrepancies and solving them in a timely manner and other violations. He provides NO Leadership Training for Supervisors. Guardsmark Officers have to pay for a $120 Training Course but receive no pay for it and will lose hours while taking it. These guys just plain Suck!
