Griffith Centers for Children Reviews

What is it like working at Griffith Centers for Children?

Clinical Supervisor in Grand Junction:
Upper management only cares about money. They are very reactive and always creating more paperwork and demands on their contractors and clinical consultants, but no reimbursement. They say they use a contractor model, but heavily blur the line between contractor and employee. They put all kinds of employee-type demands on the contractors and demand you follow all of their rules and policies, but when problems arise they throw up their hands and say, "You're a contractor so you need to deal with this on your own. Good luck with that." The pay is not at all competitive, especially regarding the stress and strain they put us under, and management acts surprised when contractors leave for better pay, better hours, benefits, and less stress. The only benefit is free supervision towards licensure. So most people work here until they are licensed and move on to better opportunities.
