Greystar Reviews
What is it like working at Greystar?
Enigmatic a lot of unknows at the property I am at currently, but far better than 2 previous.
Maintenance Technician, Apartments in Thornton:
Pros: The people. That it is the only reason I decided to stay
Cons: High turnover all across the industry. No matter the company or property it is always the same. in 5 years you will only recognize 30% of the employees, and probably about 10% will be there after ten years.
My team is the admin clerical role. Very repetitive work and stressful.
Accounts Receivable Manager in Everett:
Pros: The company morals and values. Benefits.
Cons: Compensation
Stressful, exhausting, never excel.
Property Manager in Rochester:
Pros: They have great stuff for residents. They just need to get equally as appreciative with staff
Cons: No support from upper management. You do it all here so granted you learn a lot but you never feel fulfilled in your position. There is too much expected of you in every roll and it very hard to manage. They are not family friendly. If you do not constantly work 24/7 you will never catch up. Pay is bi weekly. Bonuses are added to pay forcing them to tax at a higher rate forcing you lose your entire bonus. Which forced me as a CM to pick up a second job. I didn't have this issue until we transferred to greystar. Training is non existant. You watch a few computer trainings and off you go. No one on one or hands on training.
Unappreciated and forced to do useless events.
Maintenance Technician in Fort Worth:
Pros: Being outside
Cons: Going to mandatory job events like award ceremonies when it feels like it's more for corporate to honor themselves
Stressful & disorganized.
Leasing Manager/Property in Rockville:
Pros: Benefits
Cons: Stress and disorganization
Stressful and unappreciated, It always your fault.
Maintenance Technician in Albuquerque:
Pros: My direct team. Most days feels like we are friends and family.
Cons: Upper management. They make us hate each other and we can never do anything correctly. The some of the residents. They make our lives stressful.
