Grandview Medical Center Reviews

What is it like working at Grandview Medical Center?

Stressful.
Registered Nurse (RN), Critical Care in Birmingham:
Pros: The satisfaction of patient care. Being able to connect with parents of newborns. Critical care and critical thinking. Lots of learning opportunities. My coworkers are my family.
Cons: Under appreciated. Underpaid with lots of expectations in the role I have. New grad pay is higher than those with experience. No adjustment is made based off of surrounding hospitals or mean of living and competitive pay in Birmingham metro area.
Stressful lack of help.
PICC Line Nurse in Birmingham:
Pros: The patients and staff
Cons: The phone calls and expectations not being recognized as a competent picc nurse and having to agree with wrong decisions made at times by doctors just to keep the peace
Good people to work with, but thats it.
Patient Access Specialist in Birmingham:
Pros: Patient interactions
Cons: Lack of pay, benefits, and general respect
