Giant Food Stores Reviews
What is it like working at Giant Food Stores?
Great Company with Great Benefits.
Communications Coordinator in Hyattsville:
Pros: I really appreciated the benefits offer!
Cons: The career advancement was difficult.
The managment is disrespectful as are the customers.
Produce Associate in Walnutport:
Pros: To me its not a hard job but it can be
Cons: Customers are very rude and inconsiderate towards employees. Also management has absolutly no idea what they are doing. Employees getting more pay and benefits that have no experience at all then other employees that actually have experience but clueless management gives raises and better positions to people just hired.
Work like a dog to fatten your bosses pockets.
Retail Sales Associate in Coopersburg:
Pros: Making customers happy
Cons: The unreliability of management to do anything that favors you in any way
Customer Relations Prove Better than Work Relations.
Cashier in Nazareth:
Pros: Interpersonal communication with customers
Cons: There seems to be a wage gap between workers for undetermined reasons. Some who work in the same position and work more hour than others make less hourly.
I enjoyed it I was in charge of sale price increase an decrease in the store.
File Clerk in Davenport:
Pros: They where fair an good opportunity to move up an I was pay will
Cons: The long hours sometimes
Overall enjoyable and not overly demanding.
Cashier in Philadelphia:
Pros: I like that I'm only expected to be responsible for my own register but have the freedom to help bag if thing are slow and I need something to do
Cons: I get scheduled for shifts I've already said I couldn't take. Getting someone else to pick them up is not hard but I still want the hours.
