Geico Reviews
What is it like working at Geico?
Satisfying in terms of my teaching.
Secondary School Teacher, (but not Special and Vocational Education) in Puig:
Pros: Comfortable teaching in a lovely school and beautiful environment
Cons: Not paid enough
Meeting a customers Need: You treat every customer like a new opportunity to help someone, build rapport with then and meet their needs based on their situation.
Insurance Sales Agent in Virginia Beach:
Pros: Management keeps you up to date about the company...nice environment with friendly people and opportunities are endless.
Cons: You can get comfortable and scared to step out of your position and venture out.
Marketing Coordinator in Phoenix:
Pros: The relationships I have established for my dealer program
Cons: Feeling unappreciated for the hard work myself and team do to help the office
Business Analyst (Computer Software/Hardware/Systems):
Environment is okay, as are peers, but the pay is abysmal. I've been promoted twice but I still make 20% less than my market rate. I'm just waiting for my 2 year mark so I can get properly compensated. The work itself is fun and exciting, though!
Customer Service Representative (CSR):
Pros: Pays the bills. Good temporary job. Great for people without higher education.
Review and negotiate bodily injury settlements with attorney.
Claims Adjuster:
Pros: The level of investigation I get to have and the level of brain activity it requires.
Cons: There is a lot of work with a high level of productivity required on a daily basis.
Legal Secretary:
Pros: Benefits and company atmosphere. My regional director is awesome.
Cons: My immediate boss has an anger problem and is a whiner. Whenever there's a problem, he looks for ways to blame others, instead of taking an proactive approach to solve the problem. He also is not very good at teamwork.
