Fresinius Reviews
What is it like working at Fresinius?
Gratifying because of what I do, but distressing because no matter how hard I work there is no compensation.
Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician in Broken Arrow:
Pros: That I help people
Cons: The company
Great place to work.
Patient Care Technician in Rialto:
Pros: The work environment.
Cons: The training is fast inconsistent. The expectations are higher than the offered training.
Social Services Manager in Layton:
It's a fairly new position with the company and the training is flawed but improving. Communication on upper management needs/wants can be confusing to navigate but again is improving. MSW Managers are expected to manage, do HR duties even though there is a full HR department, travel, cover clinics and navigate the various dashboards and trackers which can be challenging, work with the Tactical Care Team, meet company set goals. Salary is base, not yet at industry standards plus bonus which may or may not come. Many Managers are making less or just slightly above new hire direct reports but the company has vowed to bring all salaries up to standards. The company is the best in ints industry, cares about patients and employees, benefits are exceptional, leadership is proactive. Professionals are trusted to perform their jobs. New departments have unfortunately made this company top and middle heavy however has provided growth opportunity that was not there previously. Quality of care is a focus. Following CMS guidelines and upping the standards is important. No sub par will do. Leadership does put people in positions not qualified for or people not able to make decisions or delegate. This needs to change. Not all clinics run the same and should. Any employee at any level or in any position should be able to walk into any dialysis clinic in the US and perforn duties the exact same way, this is a goal of the company. Overall, this company has many employees who have been there m
Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician in Punta Gorda:
Always short staffed, to much pressure on employees, better pay for the job. Management not consistent. Benefits are ok, the job is very high pressure with a lot of turnover.
I’ve worked several locations & found favorites. Managers overworked. This company is corporate & not interested in their employees health.
I love my patients and coworkers.
Patient Care Technician in Cedartown:
Pros: My patients and coworkers
Cons: The stress and micro managed structure. The pay is not reasonable.
Interesting.
Dialysis Technician:
Pros: There is never a dull moment. From five in the morning till five in the afternoon there is something to keep you occupied, which makes the day go by easier. The benefits are nice, and so is the accumulated PTO.
Cons: The pay is not very good for a job that is so important. It may just be me specifically that has poor pay, but I digress. The hours can get outrageous. You will see co workers and patients more than anyone else. The stress could bring a strong man to his knees.
