Dupage Medical Group Reviews

What is it like working at Dupage Medical Group?

It has it's pros and cons.
Medical Assistant in Oak Lawn:
Pros: My work team, the physicians I work directly with are like family and mostly I love my elderly patients
Cons: The pay and benefits could definitely be better
All about the $$ business, not healthcare.
Registered Nurse (RN) in La Grange:
Pros: It pays the rent
Cons: The sheer hypocrisy of white privileged Lesderdhip
Could be better.
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) in Orland Park:
Pros: The patients keep me going.
Cons: I feel like I am just a number. I’ve asked for a reevaluation on my pay and was told they can’t do anything about it because it is up to HR. I don’t feel appreciated; I stay late, come early, pick up shifts and it all has gone unnoticed. Most recently, I requested a day off 3 weeks in advanced for a OB apt, I am pregnant, and was given that day off. Only to be told a few days before that day that my manager needs me to come in for two hours. When I did not come - because my cyst ruptured- I was marked. How is that fair? This company does not care.
Rewarding because I developed the department.
Anesthesia Technologist in Naperville:
Pros: Efficiency and the people.
Cons: Patients need more recovery time.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Elgin:
Depends upon the department and manager you have . I’ve been fortunate to have a good department and managers where I am at. Others are not always so lucky . I think the pay for my years of experience is average but I think could be a dollar or two more because of all that I bring to the position . Benefits are a little too expensive but it is nice to get your testing done within the company . LPN jobs are scarce outside of nursing homes or assisted living so I appreciate having an office to work at.
Interesting and never boring.
Laboratory Supervisor, Medical / Clinical in Tinley Park:
Pros: Something different every day and managing large staff
Cons: Last minute projects
Stressful.
Registered Nurse (RN) in Saint Charles:
Pros: The people I work with
Cons: Phone triage
