Division of Juvenile Services Reviews

What is it like working at Division of Juvenile Services?

Working as a correctional counselor can be very rewarding but very under compensated given the work load and educational requirements.
Correctional Counselor in Martinsburg:
Pros: Being able to see the positive impact you are making with the children is very rewarding.
Cons: The stressful nature and potentially dangerous situations you are put in.
It’s s decent job. Stressful. Understaffed. Unappreciated. Supervisors in place that are unprofessional and not suitable for the position. Top management fails to acknowledge it.
Administrative Assistant in Las Cruces:
Pros: I like the work. The job at task. The thinking process, making changes and improving anything that can be improved.
Cons: Management. The bullshit. Not being noticed, being demeaned.
