Department of Commerce Reviews
What is it like working at Department of Commerce?
Great Place, Needs more Data People.
Research Analyst in Topeka:
Pros: I've enjoyed solving some of the solutions I have gotten to create.
Cons: I feel management says one things and does another. As the only person who works and understands data I feel very underappreciated.
Department of Commerce.
Information Technology (IT) Manager in Garden City:
Pros: working with a great team of people
Cons: The unpredictability of operations and constant schedule changes
Professional and a great place to work.
Information Technology (IT) Consultant in Topeka:
Pros: I really enjoy my direct management. He gives me opportunities to grow, improve, and learn more daily. The trust he instills in us allows for innovation and creative new ways to structure and organize the way we do things
Cons: It's the state, so pay is kinda of non negotiable and you don't always know if you're going to see a pay increase. It seems, for IT, to pay below the average from my research.
