Cumberland Farms, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Cumberland Farms, Inc.?

Exhausting.
Customer Service Cashier in Queensbury:
Pros: When there is enough employees working, the best thing is that there is so many different things too do. For a couple hours you can be running the register, then you can go make food and coffee, then you can go in the back do the temperature log, fill the cooler. The day flies by and you don’t get bored.
Cons: If there is not enough employees and there is not at this point, you work by yourself and are expected to do it alone. Some employees work over night alone. They are expected to cook, wait on customers, make coffee, clean, take out garbage, do dishes, prep for the morning shift and run around the store and take temperatures.
I have never worked with a manager who works as hard as the one I have now at Cumberland Farms!
Customer Service Cashier in Queensbury:
Pros: By far the best thing is my manager. She works harder than anyone. She makes me feel appreciated and valued. She is constantly putting in 16-18 hrs a day. Even when she just dead tired she is worried about her employees. Make is by far absolutely the best boss I’ve ever had.
Cons: Some employees that feel that because they stand behind the register and make coffee that they are deserving of huge promotions. They talk behind each other’s back and it gets old.
Customer Service Associate in Troy:
Pros: I love the interaction with customers, and relationship you are able to develop with them.
Cons: I work at a smaller store .overnights .and I work alone. I do not feel safe sometimes and have a hard time being able to watch customers wondering cause I'm alone working my store.
Not all good.
Customer Service Team Leader in Barre:
Pros: That I can help the team members and or customers with anything they need
Cons: My manager is extremely disrespectful twords people and can do no wrong ever according to her ideals
Can be fun but also stressful at times.
Customer Service Associate in Warwick:
Pros: There is always something to do, never get bored.
Cons: Cleaning ovens.
Great employees need to be paid what we’re worth!
Guest Service Associate in New Britain:
Pros: I love my manager which makes it easier at any job! But she knows that I know my job as well as others jobs and I go above and she let me know I’m doing amazing that i was thrown into closing and my first night she said I did better then her other employees that have been here way longer. She let me know she appreciates that besides her I’m the only one that does everything that her other employees will not do and I make sure everything I do is done right!
Cons: I don’t like that I work hard, go non stop for only 11.00 per hour I feel that those who probe themselves as great employees and assets to this company that we should be paid for working as much and as hard as we do!
Stressful.
