Community Options, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Community Options, Inc.?

It’s fulfilling and Great for a starting position and if you are interested in furthering your education, it’s a good fit for psychology and social work and management and nursing.
Direct Support Professional in Ellicott City:
Pros: I feel like I have a lot to offer, learn and grow in the field of Social Sciences
Cons: Salary for the position is a bit too low for me to be a good fit for the work and still be poverty level for more than a year or more before I get money to go back to school.
I enjoy working with the client & receiving refresher trainings.
Direct Support Professional in Bismarck:
Pros: I like working alone with the client I’m assigned to.
Cons: The pay should be better.
Week day job, no weekends, that's why I took the job.
Direct Support Professional in Bloomsburg:
Pros: Because I was hired with no weekends I have an option if I want to work it or not.
Cons: Not enough employees to cover all shifts. People are getting burned out having to do doubles every week. No pay increase like they said in the interview you would get. Slow to react to important things in the client's homes like broken appliances. Not enough equipment to work with.
