City of Chattanooga Reviews

What is it like working at City of Chattanooga?

City is all about fake and false image.
Accounting Technician in Chattanooga:
Pros: Benefits are decent
Cons: mismanaged, inter-departmental politics and the like makes you wonder how things even get done, and many times they simply don't.
Electrical Supervisor:
Low pay is a problem. The work is good but not great The insurance is good and the city clinic is very convenient and the prescriptions are very inexpensive the city gym is free and they have a fitness trainer on staff and a dietitian.
Accounting Technician:
Poor management, low pay, no respect for skills. A great many employees were promoted into management level positions because of who they knew, not what they know. Their safety program is a joke, and they don't complaints seriously enough.
Administrative Assistant:
I really like it here. I have a fantastic boss which makes it even better. We have really good benefits such as free doctor visits if we use the city's office and pharmacy discounts that are unbelievable.
Industrial Electrician:
Poor pay, lack of respect for skills, poor management, no team environment, overall moral is poor. Good ole boy network. Managers are not qualified to work at Mcdonald's. Poor work performance and attitudes is a direct reflection of poor management.
