What is it like working at Ciox Health?

Older Employee Struggling for Pay Equality.
Release of Information Specialist in Jackson:
Pros: I have a great relationship with my Supervisor.
Cons: I'm a 13 year employee & making barely above what the NEW EMPLOYEES make coming in. Just NOT fair.
Ciox Review.
Training Supervisor in Phoenix:
Pros: I like the people i work with, as well as the people i work for
Cons: there seems to be no limit on how much work they will place on a individual with out further compensation and are outside of the positions scope.
Work from Home.
Certified Medical Billing/Coding Specialist in Kennebunkport:
Pros: Working from home is my absolute favorite part of my job. I also really enjoy the work that I do. I find it interesting and challenging.
Cons: The down time. This is not specific to Ciox Health, but risk adjustment coding in general as there are deadlines and waiting for the next "season" to begin. It would be nice to have more transparency when it came to what our clients have in the works for us, and when down times would occur.
Rewarding.
Release of Information Specialist in Port Arthur:
Pros: Patients
Cons: Lack of one on one learning
Service Delivery Manager in Alpharetta:
Ciox Health is "new" company that was created out of 5 companies that were bought and merge together. With that being said it is a mess but they have plan to transform the company into a health care technology company. The good thing is this will bring in more technology and automation to company but eliminate many contractors and low level jobs. The new jobs will require a strong technical background which I have. The the culture and benefits suck. The healthcare plans are awful and expensive, especially being in the healthcare industry. It is so bad, that my wife and I pay the working spouse surcharge to be her company's plan and it is still cheaper. There is no 401k match so no point to use theirs when there is not a match. I instead put the equivalent money in my robo-IRA adviser with only a 0.25% fee. The office at the Alpharetta (Bluegrass Pkwy) is very laid back. I get to where sneakers, jeans, and a polo each day. Even the Senior VP wears jeans and a polo. This company has another year or two of turmoil before it really lifts off. They plan to move into a new office in Alpharetta and merge the two different offices. This will be the turning point I believe. Not sure I will make it that long but this company I have no regrets joining. The pay is great and I only work my standard 40 hours.
Everyone hired after me makes more money.
