Chicago Architecture Foundation Reviews

What is it like working at Chicago Architecture Foundation?

Depends on the team, tumultuous work environment.
Fundraising Manager in Chicago:
Pros: Work project independence, access to architectural tours and seminars
Cons: Overall culture of the organization, not super progressive, not a huge appreciation of staff
Operations Manager in Chicago:
Pros: Short-term project-based work that utilizes my talents, works closely with other like-minded individuals, with the freedom to work independently.
Cons: Below average pay, outside of my relationship with my direct supervisor it does not feel like the entry to mid-level staff are given much of a voice by leadership.
Web Designer in Chicago:
Poor leadership. Organization is a mess and no one can agree on what the priorities are. I joined as a web designer and expected to work on the website, but I ended up primarily working on print materials and did little to no web design work. Their mission is that design matters but after working there, it's clear that design does not matter at all. I wouldn't recommend working here.
